SHREVEPORT, La. (Arklatex Today) - Take in earthly art made from clay and stoneware, then view beautiful paintings honoring wildlife at LSEM.
From Nov. 19 until Dec. 28, the Louisiana State Exhibition Museum (LSEM), 3015 Greenwood Road, will be hosting both Louisiana Mud Mavens and the Louisiana Society of Animal Artists in their winter shows.
The free-to-attend opening reception will be held on Nov. 19, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Louisiana Society of Animal Artists
The Louisiana Society of Animal Artists’ exhibition will feature work depicting wild and domestic animals with a wide range of media.

Mud Mavens
LSUS Mud Maven’s exhibition will feature students’ stoneware and porcelain clays, made with coils and slabs, thrown on a wheel, and sculpted.

The group will be led by Mark Poole and will show works by Trudy Daniel, Amanda Mann Davis, Catherine Evans, Paula Frierson, Gwyn Hults, and Kathie Thomas.
