SHREVEPORT, La. (Arklatex Today) - It’s going to be a hooting good time during this family fun afternoon event in Caddo Common Park.
On Nov. 19, at the Caddo Common Park, 869 Texas Avenue, the Shreveport Regional Arts Council is inviting all to enjoy an event packed with cool activities, including the chance to meet real-life owls. The event, HOOTS, HOOPS, HORNS, & HOPS is completely free to attend and starts at 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Activities:
- Hoots - Meet the owls of Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Park
- Hoops - Bring your hula hoop or borrow one at the location for hooping fun.
- Horns - Enjoy the Shreveport Regional Jazz Ensemble during their last Caddo Common performance of the year.
- Hops - Have a nice craft beer from Shreveport-Bossier City’s local breweries.
- Hands-on art activities for kids
- Holiday art vendors will be available to get your early Christmas gifts.
- Hearty food trucks are available for when hunger strikes.
