Juicy…sweet…delicious… some of the words you’re going to hear at the 45th Annual Hope Watermelon Festival. It’s happening Thursday, August 5 to Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Fair Park in Hope, Arkansas. This event is one of the biggest in Southwest Arkansas that’s even attracted the attention and participation of governors. With the continued threat of Covid-19, please follow local, state and federal guidelines. This year features several bands and performers sprinkled throughout the weekend with Phil Vassar headlining Saturday night. Of course you can browse the arts and crafts vendors, eat plenty of good food and watermelon. Back again are the Watermelon Olympics. Head on over to Fair Park in Southwest Hope for all of the fun. Thursday, August 5 – Open at Noon

Friday, August 6 – Open at 9:00am
Lions Club Fish Fry at 4:30pm

Watermelon 5K at 7:30am
Civitan Antique and Classic Car Show starts at 8:00am
Politically Correct Watermelon Eating Contest at 11:00am followed by the main eating contest at Noon
Seed Spitting Contest at 1:30pm
