Thousands hit the streets in downtown Shreveport to watch the best in local music, food, fashion, comedy and film during Prize Fest 2021. After a year of virtual events the 10th year of Prize Fest went Back in the Streets with two weekends full of short film screenings, live music, fashion runway exhibitions, a live comedy show and food! Here is a list of Prize Fest 2021 winners.
Louisiana Film Prize
$25,000 winner – Shreveport Son
Directed by Mark Bonner
The Top Five films include Jency Hogan’s Bamboo House, Melissa Goslin’s MOMento, Jacob McSharma’s Nana Ki Dum, and Reece Roark’s Pictures in the Sky.
Best Actress – Anamé Walt in Moonlight Dancer

Louisiana Music Prize
$10,000 winner – Ponderosa Grove (Prescott, AZ)
$3,000 winner – Been Stellar (Brooklyn, NY)

Power to the People award ($1,000) – Bond+ (Shreveport, LA)

Louisiana Food Prize
Golden Fork $2,500 prize – Tootie Morrison and Regina Charboneau
Golden Shaker – Haley Horne
Seven 2020 Golden Fork Chefs teamed up with celebrity chefs from across the country and competed.
Louisiana Fashion Prize
$2,500 winner – Jessica Hall
This year, six fashion designers impressed and wowed a live audience and industry judges in the third year of Fashion Prize.
Louisiana Comedy Prize
$1,000 winner – Trey Mack
Five hilarious comedians performed 7-10 minute standup routines in the very first Comedy Prize.
