Pumpkin Shine on Line information
This free event will be held at Betty Virginia Park on October 19th. Stroll through the park and marvel at the stupendous displays created by schools, families, pumpkin artists, and local businesses. Some pumpkins are painted. Others are carved. While you are walking the park and marveling at the incredible art, community leaders will judge the jack-o-lanterns to see who’s the best. Equally important, entertainment will be provided by area school bands, cheerleaders, and choirs. Also, food and concessions are available for purchase. Without a doubt, everyone will have a blast.
Due to thousands of attendees descending on Betty Virginia Park, you are encouraged to park by Dillard’s at Mall St. Vincent and ride the free shuttle to Betty Virginia Park. Shuttle service runs from 4:00pm till 8:00pm. Once the sun goes down, the paths around the park will light up thanks to 2,500 luminaries.
