TEXARKANA, Tex. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - The first Saturday in May is a special day to “Celebr8″ in Texarkana. Spring Lake Park turns into the Texarkana Twice As Fine Wine Festival for the eighth time. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, you can come to this family friendly event. Enjoy free admission to the festival that features, 60 artisan vendors, lots of food options, music and wine.
Find a new favorite from 28 wineries located inside the baseball field. All of the wineries come from Texas. A few like Fay J Winery and Enoch’s Stomp are some of the favorites from the northeast part of the Lone Star State. For those who don’t fancy wine, there is one beer stand. Admission into the Wine Garden is $20. Wine tasting costs $1. 100% of all of the proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer’s Alliance.
Alzheimer’s Alliance has been around over 38 years. They provide resources, education and respite care for families around Texarkana. One of the main parts of the Alliance is the Our Place Respite Care Center. It is a place for three days a week that offers respite care for families to bring their loved ones to stay with them. The center has an enjoyable and loving environment with lots of stimulation to spend time with care givers.

15,000 visitors came out 2022. The festival became the Best Charity Event in Texarkana for the fifth year in a row.
