One thing that makes Abby Singer’s Bistro stand out is that you can enjoy a dinner and a movie. Order something to eat and they will deliver it to you while you are watching a movie in the Robinson Film Center. Another great opportunity is the balcony dining. Sit out overlooking Texas Street to watch the afternoon community buzz or watch the sunset behind the church. It’s a fantastic view not to be missed.

The bistro is named after famous movie director Abner E. “Abby” Singer. He’s worked on classics like Death of a Salesman, The Jack Benny Show and Hill Street Blues. According to the Front of House Manager Nickie Roberson, “his way of wrapping up a movie was to say ‘The Abby.” Everybody knew then that it was time for the movie to wrap up.”
