Downtown Live

6 p.m. - 9 p.m. in downtown Texarkana

Explore some of the businesses downtown. Meet local artists. Have dinner downtown.

SATURDAY, JULY 15

Longview Comic Con

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview

Celebrity guests you can meet include actors from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Star Wars, WWE wrestling, Pokemon, Demon Slayer, Dragonball, as well as comic artists and cosplayers from across the United States.

1st Annual Golf Cart Challenge

10:30 a.m. - Noon in downtown Jefferson, Tex

Watch a parade of golf carts roll through downtown Jefferson. Prizes awarded for Best Paint, Best Decorated and more. A rally for the carts starts at 11:30 a.m.

Red River Balloon Rally

5 p.m. - 10 p.m. (Also on Friday night) at Louisiana Downs in Bossier City

Twenty-five hot air balloons will light up the sky. There will be a plethora of fun activities like balloon glows, live local bands, tethered balloon rides, craft vendors, a kid fun zone, delicious food and of course balloon-watching!

Music in the Park: McWilliams Family Band

7:30 p.m. at the 1874 Courthouse Visitor Center at Historic Washington State Park in Arkansas

Listen to one of Southwest Arkansas’s bands focusing on Americana folk and bluegrass.

SUNDAY, JULY 16

Balloons Over DeSoto

4 p.m. - 10 p,.m. at the DeSoto Parish Airport (US Hwy 171 at LA 3015) in Grand Cane, La

This is a free event featuring several hot air balloons, live entertainment, balloon rides and a fireworks show.

Travis Tritt

6 p.m. at the Perot Theatre in Texarkana

Country music fans will be happy as the legendary musician and songwriter graces the stage. Listen to over 30 years of classics in one night.
