SHREVEPORT, La. (Arklatex Today) - The bar is considered an “electric entertainment experience” unlike anything in the ArkLaTex.
On Dec. 14, at 7 p.m., the unique nightclub, Sweet Caroline’s Dueling Piano Bar is holding its grand opening.
“Your enthusiasm means the world to us, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been cooking up. Thanks a million for your understanding and support. We’ll make sure that our grand opening is worth the wait,” says Sweet Caroline’s Dueling Piano Bar’s Facebook page.
Sweet Caroline’s is also hosting an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party on Dec. 23, at 7 p.m.
Guests are asked to turn up the holiday hideousness to 11 and grab the gaudiest, ugliest, and tackiest sweaters.

“Wear it like you’re auditioning for a fashion crime documentary,” says the event page.
Accordingly, there will be prizes for the best of the worst fashion statements.
“The prizes? Well, they’re so valuable, they’ve taken a vow of silence. These unspeakable treasures are so exclusive, even the Abominable Snowman would trade in his snow cave for a shot at winning. So, wrap yourself in tinsel, bedazzle like there’s no tomorrow, and join us for a night of spectacularly tasteful(less) festivities. It’s not just a sweater, it’s a statement—loud, proud, and delightfully dreadful,” says Sweet Caroline’s.
The establishment is for ages 21+ only.
Admission is $10 per person from Wednesday - Saturday.
