East Bank Mardi Gras market celebrated with golf cart parade, vendors, food

BOSSIER CITY, La. (Arklatex Today) - Let the good times roll and celebrate the season with a night of lights and beads.

The golf carts rolled and the throws flew during the eventful night.

On Jan. 27, the East Bank Plaza, 630 Barksdale Boulevard, and the Bossier Arts Council will host their 2024 Mardi Gras Market. This family-friendly event is free to attend and offers tons of fun.

  • Food trucks
  • music
  • Golf cart parade - Golf carts will be rolling through the bike lanes of the East Bank, throwing plenty of beats and other throws to catch.

The parade will roll at 6 p.m. and you can vote for your favorite decorated cart.

Voting ends at 7:30 with the winner receiving $250.
