RODRICK STRONG

  • After more than 20 years in the ring, Roderick Strong made his shocking AEW debut in April 2023, saving Adam Cole from an attack on the Jericho Appreciation Society.
  • He made his impact quickly in AEW, aligning himself with Adam Cole and scoring several victories before getting viciously beaten by Samoa Joe in the quarterfinals of the Owen Hart Memorial Tournament, and from then on Strong began wearing a neck brace and utilizing a wheelchair to get around.
  • He began growing jealous of Adam Cole’s budding friendship with then-AEW World Champion MJF. As time progressed and Cole and MJF’s “bromance” did as well, mystery attacks began occurring by “The Devil,” who was donning MJF’s trademark devil mask, despite MJF acknowledging it was stolen and Strong and cohorts Mike Bennett and Matt Taven pointing fingers for responsibility elsewhere.
  • At the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view on December 30, Strong, Taven, and Bennett, alongside Adam Cole, revealed their identities as the Devil (Cole) and his henchmen, also bringing MJF’s long-time bodyguard-turned-nemesis, Wardlow, into the fold.
  • Since then, they’ve gone on to form the new stable the Undisputed Kingdom, with Cole vowing destruction across the AEW roster on behalf of his group, and setting his sights on the AEW World Championship when he returns from injury.
  • Strong is challenging AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy for his title at AEW Revolution, taking place Sunday, March 3 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC. This will also mark the retirement match for wrestling royalty, “The Icon” Sting, and will be a highly-anticipated event.
