SHREVEPORT, La. (Arklatex Today) - Get ready to “Savor The Soul of Louisiana BBQ” at The Magnolia Pit in Shreveport.
On March 30, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., a new BBQ place, The Magnolia Pit is making its mark at 792 Jordan Street, during its grand opening. Having soft opened not to long ago, this new restaurant is attempting to establish a reputation for Louisiana BBQ.
During the grand opening, attendees will enjoy special pricing on all sandwiches and meat plates. The restaurant will also be giving out free samples, doing giveaways, and a grand prize giveaway of one pound of three meats of your choice and a half rack of ribs.
“I ended up going with a Selection of Fatty Brisket and Flavorful Pulled Pork, on top of my honkin’ rib! The sides? Pork Belly Pinto Beans and their Smokehouse Mac & Cheese all tied together with a really good Slice of Cheddar Beer Bread,” said Alex Richardson, food reviewer for 318 Restaurant Week and Bossier Arts Council’s marketing coordinator. “I’ll definitely be making my way back once again.”
