SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Creative Ball showcases and celebrates the artistic community of Shreveport, inviting artists to express themselves.
On May 18, J Michael Photography Company is hosting its Biennial event, The Creative Ball 2024 at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel, 711 Horseshoe Boulevard. The event is meant to celebrate and bring awareness to the lives of talented artists in Shreveport’s thriving, yet often underexposed arts community.
During the event, nationally popular Shreveport fashion designer, Steven Goudeau will showcase an intimate collection.
“I put my heart and soul into these designs, and I can’t wait to share them with all of you in my hometown,” says Goudeu.
“For one night, all walks of life converge for live performances, connectivity and artistic innovation developed in collaboration with those same talents,” says the Facebook Event.

The ball’s theme this year is Grunge Glam. Attendees are invited to get creative and to come in what inspires them the most.
Samples of grunge style would be studs, spikes, leather, denim, boots, heels, diamonds, sequins, and glitter.
The Creative Ball embodies the mission of The Creative Magazine, a magazine that seeks to inspire its readers to embrace an eclectic and diverse culture bound together through common threads of art and community.
