Shreveport, La. — SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Allegiant is launching low-cost vacation season flights from Shreveport to two popular Florida locations.
On May 30, Allegiant Travel Company announced it is kicking off seasonal service from Shreveport Regional Airport (SHV) to Sanford, Florida, and Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The new flights are part of the airline’s seasonal expansion in 66 cities across the country.
Allegiant focuses its schedules around vacation seasons, aiming to make air travel to world-class destinations affordable.
“Anticipating accelerated travel demand, we are excited to bring back these seasonal routes for passengers to enjoy some of our network’s most popular destinations just in time for summer vacations,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief revenue officer. “Allegiant’s affordable, all-nonstop flights allow customers to spend more time in their destination without the hassle of layovers or connections.”
The seasonal routes include:
