SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Red River District has a new upscale authentic Cajun and Creole restaurant.
On Friday (June 21) at 2 p.m., a grand opening was held for a new restaurant in the Red River District in downtown, Shreveport.
Located at 500 Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway, across from the Shreveport Aquarium, Cassandra’s on the River will provide food by renowned Executive Chef Cassandra, also known as Chef J.
The grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with special appearances by local leaders, live music and a sampling of signature dishes prepared by the chef.
Cassandra’s on the River will be an upscale dining setting, described as a Louisiana-style restaurant dedicated to serving authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine.
