SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Dripp Donuts is officially reopened after tragically losing their historic building.
Many were left saddened when Dripp Donuts, in downtown Shreveport, suddenly announced its closure. The business was not in the newly remodeled historic building for very long when a critical crack formed in its foundation and up its back wall.
According to officials, the building had to be torn down, and Dripp Donuts was a victim of the historic building’s demise. Dripp closed, and many wondered if the SBC local would ever return.
Opens in new windowIn the past couple of months, the Dripp Donuts sign went up at the old Sweetport building at 3301 Line Avenue. It was sad to see Sweetport, a delicious creamery, go when it did, but at least we get Dripp Donuts back.
Its official soft opening times are Tuesday - Sunday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
